Journey Counselling
Teri Varcoe, MSW RSW
Victoria, BC
I provide a safe, judgement free space where you can tell your story, identify your strengths and resources to address what you are struggling with. Come away with a plan, practical strategies, perspective and a sense of relief knowing you can, in time with the right tools, learn to manage and process what seems insurmountable. I work within a framework that is holistic, strengths-based, solution-focused and trauma-informed. My approach varies depending on your unique needs and circumstances and takes into account the complex world in which we live.

About Me
Teri Varcoe, MSW RSW
I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree with twenty years of counselling experience. I provide counselling in an accessible home office in Victoria, British Columbia.
I enjoy working with adults of all ages who may be struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and related boundary issues, stress management, compassion fatigue, grief and loss and other life transitions (change of job, moving), relationship issues, disABILITY including acquired brain injury, chronic health issues and terminal illness. I have worked with many people caring for people living with dementia. I have a special interest working with family caregivers and professional caregivers alike.
Besides my work as a counsellor, I am a mom of teenagers, a spouse, daughter, friend, and sister.
